Learning beyond the classroom—empowering students with real-world financial knowledge.

On Tuesday, 28th July, our Grade IX and X students had the wonderful opportunity to visit IndusInd Bank as part of our Financial Literacy Programme. The visit provided practical exposure to the world of banking and financial management.

The bank officials conducted an interactive session explaining the different types of bank accounts, the account opening process, banking forms, ATM and debit cards, passbooks, cheque books, digital banking services, and safe banking practices. Students also gained valuable insights into KYC documentation, deposits, withdrawals, online transactions, and the importance of saving and financial planning.

Students actively participated in the session, asked insightful questions, and developed a better understanding of how banks function and the role of financial responsibility in everyday life.

The visit was an enriching experience that strengthened students’ financial awareness and equipped them with essential life skills for the future.
